G Workspace Pricing

G Workspace offers two billing plans, flexible plan and annual plan.

Flexible Plan

You will be billed monthly for each user account. You can add or remove any users at any time and pay only for usage. You can also stop the G Workspace service at any time with no penalty. 

Annual Plan

This Annual Plan is recommended for organizations with a constant or growing workforce.

On this plan, you basically commit to purchasing the service for a full year. 

If you purchase the Annual Plan, you commit to the number of user licences you need at the time. You can add or remove user accounts but don’t exceed the total number of purchased licences. If you stop the service before the year is up, you will still pay for the full year. 

G Suite offers 3 plans;
1) basic, 30 GB per user,
2) business, 1TB per user, unlimited if over 5 users,
3) enterprise, unlimited storage

The following prices are valid on June, 2020, subject to changes by Google.

Differences between G Suite and the free Apps for consumers

Google Suite or G Suite, developed by Google Cloud is a collection of online business products. G Suite is offered on a monthly subscription basis to help businesses to streamline their operations, much like most businesses are using popular software programs like Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365 for their operations. G Suite includes Google apps like Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Chat, Meet and so much more.

Vault
All the data in your Google Drive is hosted in the Google Cloud. Like normal computer files, sometimes you need a program to retrieve the data, emails, chats and documents. Vault is not a backup or restore service but a way to retrieve your information on your Google Drive.
G Suite Administrator can place a legal hold on individual users to ensure their data is retained as long as required for legal purposes. Vault has Google’s powerful search capabilities to help you to locate your emails, documents or any files on your Google Drive.

Team Drives
You can create separate Google Team Drives to manage how your colleagues or employees access the files. Employees can leave or colleagues can rearrange files or moved them to the trash, causing havoc in your business. You can solve these problems by creating Team Drives on your G Suite.

Admin

What are included in G Suite?

By April, 2020, there are 6 million paying businesses, and 120 millions educators and students on G Suite and G Suite for Education according to CNBC and Google. 

What do you get when you sign up for G Suite Apps? G Suite Apps are office productivity and collaboration tools on the Google Cloud Platform. You don’t need to download these tools. You just need your internet connection and chrome browser to use them. The cloud tools include the following apps:

Connect tools:
Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Meet, Meet Hardware

Access tools:
Google Drive, Cloud Search

Create tools:
Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Sites, App Scripts, Keep, Jamboard

Drive
This cloud drive allows you to create, share, collaborate and store all your data and files. Depending on your plan, you get either 30 GB, 1T per user to unlimited storage.
You can even sync files between your devices and the cloud files, regardless if you are using Windows, iOS, or Android based devices such as PC, tablets, smartphones or smartwatches. 

Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Forms, Chat & Meet
Google Docs, Sheets & Slides are similar to Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Here is the list of corresponding apps between Google Suite and Microsoft’s Office 365.
